Glass Coating Options

  • The LoE Advantage

LoE is a metallic film applied to the glass surface as it is solidifying. The film acts as a shield and directs energy to the source. The film keeps the house warmer for a longer period of time in the winter and cooler for a longer period of time in the summer. The benefit can be a 20-30% reduction in energy costs on an annual basis. LoE can reduce up to 90% of ultraviolet light, which causes fading of hard wood floors, furniture, drapery and art.

  • WeatherTech E

Formulated specifically for cold weather climates, WeatherTech E provides the highest solar heat gain and visible light during cold winter days and keeps your heat in during cold winter nights, reducing your energy costs while increasing comfort.

  • WeatherTech 2

WeatherTech 2 has double the insulating value of ordinary glass. WeatherTech 2 provides the perfect balance between blocking solar heat and harmful rays in the summer, while ensuring that heat and energy does not escape from your home during the winter. This ultimately saves you money by reducing your energy costs.

  • WeatherTech 3

With three insulating coatings, WeatherTech 3 provides ultimate comfort throughout the year while adjusting to the weather. In the summer, the triple coating works to block out the sun’s heat and rays so that you do not have to close your blinds or turn up your air conditioning. WeatherTech 3 has advanced technology that also works to ensure that heat does not escape from your home during the winter, saving you energy and ultimately reducing your energy costs.

  • Ever Clear- Self-Cleaning Glass

When activated by the sun’s light, Ever Clear Self Cleaning Glass technology works to break down carbon based organic materials like dust, bird droppings and fingerprints keeping your windows cleaner longer. If any debris is on a window then your garden hose, with the appropriate pressure, can remove this and as the window dries it will become clean.

  • Argon & Krypton:

Argon Krypton gas works to reduce the air space between the layers of glass in an insulated unit. By adding Krypton (slow moving gas), it minimizes movement within the space, reducing the overall heat transfer between the interior and exterior, ultimately increasing the thermal performance of your unit.
